This policy explains what data ASINGuard ("we", "us") collects when you use the Service, why we collect it, and how it's handled.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — your name and email address, via our authentication provider, Clerk.
- Tracked ASINs and audit data — the Amazon product IDs you choose to track, product titles, and the review text, ratings, and dates fetched for those products for the purpose of generating audit reports.
- Amazon session data (extension only) — if you install the optional browser extension, it uses your own logged-in Amazon session, at your direction, to fetch review and listing pages. The extension does not transmit your Amazon password or session cookies to us — it sends back only the fetched page content, which we parse for review text.
- Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive or store your card details.
- Usage data — basic technical logs (e.g. request timestamps) needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to operate the Service: running scheduled and on-demand review audits, generating AI-based reports, managing your account and subscription, and providing support when you contact us.
3. Third-Party Processors
We share data with the following service providers as necessary to operate the Service:
- Clerk — authentication and account management.
- Neon — our Postgres database provider, which stores tracked ASINs, audit reports, and accumulated review data.
- Anthropic — review text is sent to Anthropic's Claude models to generate the root-cause analysis in your reports.
- Firecrawl — used for server-side fetching of publicly accessible Amazon pages when the browser extension is not used.
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and billing for paid subscriptions.
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Retention
We retain tracked ASINs, audit history, and accumulated review data for as long as your account is active, so you can see how a listing's risk profile changes over time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
5. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. You can remove a tracked ASIN from your portfolio at any time from the dashboard, which stops further checks on it.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
